An alcoholic beverage is always a fun idea used socially or for special occasions, and when consumed responsibly and with moderation, it can be quite the delight. Many legal age adults don’t mind the idea of “throwing a few back” during an occasion or two. A glass of wine is always nice with dinner after a long day’s work. Every adult is not privy to the consumption of alcohol for various reasons that range from religion to health. However, it is still fun to enjoy non-alcoholic beverages that are all dressed up like the real thing. After all, who wants to have a water with lemon while everyone else is enjoying a delicious cocktail? No problem. Here we will cover all the basics on some really fun, non-alcoholic versions of some popular cocktails. These non-alcoholic variations of cocktails are referred to as mocktails, and they give the same great flavors and great taste as their approximation, only without the actual effects of alcohol. Here is a list of a few mocktail recipes we’d love to share, of cocktails imitated into mocktails that are guaranteed to taste just like the real thing.

The best mocktails include healthy ingredients that offer the drinker not just a tasty beverage, but health benefits as well. You always want to look for recipes that aren’t high in sugar or empty calories. Sparkling mineral water is a great base for a healthy mocktail. How healthy are mocktails? Well, they’re just as healthy as the ingredients you put into them.  If you decide to make mocktails, you want to choose wisely and make sure they’re not just a non-alcoholic sugar and calorie overload. Choose the right mocktails and avoid mocktail drinks that may be alcohol-free but are far from healthy.
